After a night at Lake Masek tented camp we drove this morning to Kucini tented camp {means south in Swahili, the southernmost camp in the serengeti),which is set up in a rock outcroping in the serengeti. Hosted by Cornelia and Mark Stroud almost like a B&B in the african plains. On the way this morning we saw some flamingos at sunrise, caught some rollers in mid flight, mother and baby giraffe, cheetah encountering some very alert zebras.
When we returned to camp we had a delicious lunch and quickly went out in search of "The Migration". The wildebeast 1.5 million, and 300,000 zebra make a round trip 600 miles trip in the serengeti and mara, this is birthing season in the serengeti and thus the images of lots of babies. After our evening gane drive we watched the sunset from high atop rocks, had a wonderful dinner and turned in for the night. We will search for the migration again tomorrow.
